Grandma’s Chocolate Sauce

3 – 1 Oz. Squares of Chocolate

1 ¾ Cup Canned Milk

¼ Tsp Salt

1 Tsp. Butter

1 Cup Sugar

¼ Cup Flour

1 Tsp Vanilla

Melt chocolate in milk over hot water (double boiler), stirring frequently until smooth.  Combine sugar, flour & salt; quickly stir into chocolate mixture.  Cook & stir until slightly thick.  Remove from heat and add butter & vanilla.  May also add almonds.

Makes about 2 ¼ Cups of chocolate sauce.
