Banana Nut Bread

3 Ripe Bananas, Well Mashed

2 Eggs, Well Beaten

2 Cups Flour

¾ Cup Sugar

½ Cup Shortening or Margarine

1 Tsp Salt

1 Tsp Baking Soda

½ Cup Coarsely Chopped Walnuts

Preheat oven to 350°F.  Grease a loaf pan.

Mix the bananas & eggs together in a large bowl.  Stir in the flour, sugar, salt, baking soda & shortening.  Add walnuts & stir well.

Pour batter in pan & bake for 1 hour, or until toothpick comes out clean when inserted in center.
