MTC MACAROONS
This version is for 100 cookies (regular recipe x 5)
15 egg whites
1 ¼ tsp. salt
5 cups powdered sugar
5 tsp. vanilla
1 cup flour
15 cups coconut
10 T. melted butter
Scoop out onto parchment paper to cook. 350° until brown.
To make 1 dozen cookies–
Beat until stiff but not dry:
3 egg whites
¼ tsp. rounded salt
Add and beat well:
1 cup powdered sugar
Add and mix:
1 tsp. vanilla
Stir in:
3 T. and ¾ tsp. flour
3 cups sweetened coconut
2 T. melted butter
Scoop out onto parchment paper and cook at 350° until brown – about 15 minutes.
