Irene’s Caramels

2 cups sugar
1 1/2 cup dark Karo syrup
1 cup butter
2 cups cream
Nuts
1 tsp. vanilla

Stovetop Popcorn

3 Tbsp canola, peanut or grapeseed oil (high smoke point oil)
1/3 cup of high quality popcorn kernels
1 3-quart covered saucepan

Chocolate Oat Fingers

1 stick butter
5 ounces dark cooking chocolate
¼ cup coconut
½ cup condensed milk
½ cup craisins
½ chopped walnuts
2 cups quick-cooking oats
powdered sugar for dusting

Quick & Easy Turtle Candies

1 bag Rolo candies, unwrapped
1 bag Pretzels
1 bag of Pecans halves
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
1. Unwrap Rolo candies and place in bowl for later.

2 Cups Oatmeal Cereal Squares
2 Cups Corn Cereal Squares
2 Cups Mini Pretzels
1 Cup Whole, Unsalted Almonds
¼ Cup Butter
1/3 Cup Frozen Orange Juice Concentrate, Thawed

Caroline’s Honey Taffy

½ Cup Honey
2 TBSP Sugar (White or Brown)
2-3 TBSP Butter

Boil all ingredients together for 10 minutes, stirring constantly.

Pour into greased pan, let cool until taffy mixture is cool enough to handle.
Pull with buttered hands until taffy turns white.
Form into bite size pieces, and let cool completely.
