Overnight Caramel French Toast

Overnight Caramel French Toast

  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 TBSP Light corn Syrup
  • ½ Cup Butter
  • 12 Slices of Bread
  • ¼ Cup Sugar
  • 1 TSP Cinnamon
  • 6 Eggs
  • 1 ½ Cup Milk
  • 1 TSP Vanilla

In a small saucepan over medium heat bring brown sugar, butter and corn syrup to a boil, stirring constantly.  Remove from heat.  Pour into a 9×12 pan.  Top with 6 slices of bread and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  Add the other 6 slices of bread and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.  In a large bowl, combine the remaining ingredients.  Mix well and pour over bread and cover.  Refrigerate overnight.  Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
