1 ½ Cup Sugar
1 ½ Cup Karo Syrup (lite)
1 ½ Cup Butter
In a large microwaveable bowl, cook for 5 minutes on high. Cooking & stirring every 2 ½ minutes for a total of 7 ½ minutes until syrupy.
1 tsp Vanilla
½ tsp Baking Soda (will make the mixture foam, so you must use a large bowl)
In a separate bowl, mix together:
6 Cups Rice & Corn Chex (3 Cups each)
½ cup Raw Ribbon White Coconut (Buy at Whole Foods or Good Earth – bulk foods section)
1 ½ – 2 Cups Mixed Nuts – 2 Cups are better
Mix the syrup & dry ingredients together, keep mixing because syrup will settle at the bottom.
Pour into pan and let cool, then serve.
