¼ cup soy sauce
½ cup distilled white or rice wine vinegar

Mix together in saucepan:
1 cup sugar
2 T. cornstarch
Add and cook together until it boils 1 minute:
2 cups apple cider
2 T. lemon juice
2 tsp. cinnamon
½ tsp. ginger
¼ tsp. nutmeg
