Ingredients
1 pound unsalted butter
1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
2 1/4 cups packed light-brown sugar
4 large eggs
3 cups plus 2 tablespoons pastry flour*
3 cups bread flour

Chewy Chocolate Cookies

1 ¼ C Butter or Margarine softened
2 C Sugar
2 Eggs
2 tsp Vanilla
2 C unsifted all-purpose Flour
¾ C Cocoa
1 tsp Baking Soda
½ tsp Salt

OATMEAL CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

Cream together:
1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
Add:
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Combine and then mix into creamed mixture:
2 cups flour
1 ½ cups quick oatmeal
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder

12 oz. milk chocolate chips
4 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips

Irene’s Brownies

Use a cake pan
Blend:
1 cup sugar
1/2 cup butter
Add:
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 can choc. syrup (soup can size)
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup plus 1 tbsp. flour
Bake at 350 20-25 minutes
Frost with:
3 tbsp. butter

3 tbsp. milk

INGREDIENTS
10 oz. bittersweet chocolate, chopped
1 lb. unsalted butter, at room temp
1 lb. 8 oz. powdered sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract

Fudge Frosting

FUDGE FROSTING
In the top of a double boiler over boiling water melt:
2 squares unsweetened chocolate
½ cup butter
Keep water boiling while you add:
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 lb. powdered sugar
1/3 cup sour cream
2 T. light corn syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Cook only until dissolved. (Mixture will harden like fudge if overcooked.)
