Two Step Pound Cake

Makes 10-12 Servings / Prep: 20 Min  / Bake: 1 hour & 30 Min
You will need a heavy duty mixer for this recipe. A hand held one won’t give you the power you need to blend the ingredients.

Ingredients:
4 Cups all-purpose flour
3 Cups sugar
1 pound butter, softened

Melt and bring to a boil:
          ¾ lb. butter or margarine (3 cubes)
          4 heaping T. cocoa
          1 cup water
 
Sift together:
          2 cups flour
          2 cups sugar
 
Pour the chocolate mixture over the flour mixture and mix. Then add:

          1 tsp. baking soda
