Dinner Rolls

6 Cups Flour (Approximately)

2 Cups Warm Water

¼ Cup Sugar

1 ½ TBSP Yeast

1 Cup Milk

1 TBSP Salt

5 TBSP Shortening

Mix all of the above ingredients except flour.  Gradually add 6 Cups of flour.  Mix until dough pulls away from sides of mixer and forms a ball.  Let rise for 20 Minutes.

Roll into small balls & fill lightly greased baking pans.  Let rise until dough balls double in bulk.

Bake at 350°F until the rolls are done, about 25-30 minutes.

Oh goodie! I’ve been looking for an easy rolls recipe. Supposedly my dad makes great rolls from scratch too but I have yet to try them, and he’s not telling the recipe. I’ll give these a try tonight and them tell him its a secret. Thanks!
