Chicken Curry

 

1 TBSP Garlic Powder

2 Medium Onions, chopped

1 Cup Tomato puree or 2 tomatoes peeled, and chopped

1 Large can apple pie filling

½ Cup butter, melted

1 TBSP Flour

1 TBSP Curry Powder

1 TBSP Sugar

¼ Tsp. Dry Mustard

Pinch of ground ginger

2 Cups Chicken Broth

Juice & rind of 1 lime

1 Cup Raisins

2 ½ Cups Cubed Chicken

½ Cup Cream

2 TBSP Chopped Chutney

 

Sauté first 4 ingredients in butter.  Add remaining ingredients and simmer 30 minutes.  Reduce heat & cook 15 minutes more.  Serve with hot rice.

 

Serves 8-12
